In response to popular demand, I am proud to present the original Groundhog Day home page. Anything different is good. This page is dedicated to information about the Harold Ramis film "Groundhog Day" and the actual day itself in relation to the town of Punxsutawney, home of the nation's oldest groundhog festival.

I have attempted to provide some tidbits, juicy facts, and rumors about 'Groundhog Day' in this section. Such casual treatment of this opus is almost akin to making a mockery of its richness and depth, but I hope that the benefits outweigh any possible sacreligious overtones.

The Town of Punxsutawney

The movie "Groundhog Day" was based upon the events that occur in Punxsutawney every year on February 2nd. I had the distinct priviledge of travelling to Punxsutawney this year to witness the festivities myself.
